Carbon brush mounts, often also called brush mounts, are an indispensable component for the reliable operation of electric motors. They serve as an interface between the power supply and the rotating components of the motor and thus enable the efficient conversion of electrical energy into mechanical work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brush mounts have the task of holding the carbon brush in a defined position in a system consisting of a carbon brush and slip ring or collector in order to establish electrical contact with a rotating or sliding part of a machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brushes are arranged so that they come into contact with the collectors or slip rings, which are part of the motor's rotating shaft. The carbon brush transmits the electrical current from the power source to the rotor of the motor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
