Collection trays or pump sumps are required if water-polluting substances are stored in tanks and containers. This ensures that, in the event of a leak in the tank, the stored medium is collected so that no damage is caused to the environment or people and the leaked medium can be disposed of without any problems.

Depending on the medium in question, we select the appropriate material for our collection trays, which must be resistant to the leaked medium. The size of the collection tray depends on the contents of the container stored in the collection tray and is designed in accordance with the regulations of the Water Resources Act (WHG) [Wasserhaushaltsgesetz].

Plastic collection trays are an excellent solution for storing hazardous substances due to the good chemical resistance of the plastics used. EKK manufactures collection trays for customised tanks as well as for IBCs.

Our collection trays are manufactured by our experienced and TÜV-certified welders and undergo a quality and leak test before delivery. As a certified specialist company in accordance with WHG, we have the necessary authorisation for the manufacture of collection trays.
